The service itself was completed efficiently and on time but I was put in an awkward position when they wanted to charge me for it! I had taken out a package on purchase which included this first service they did not initially believe me.

The control system failed. 1) I called Barons they told me to call roadside assist. 2) Roadside assist told me to call BMW idrive 4) idrive told me to phone Barons. 5) Barons had it for 5 days (no loan car available) BUT Andrew was fantastic.

Quick MoT and nice explanation of advisories (2-tyres in this case). Nice clean car as well, though next time the boot area could use a wipe and vacuum too.

Having taken the car in for a major service / mot and mentioned that the horn button had never worked properly, no mention was made that there was a non obligatory advisory re the horn on my mot certificate when I collected the car.
